UC Irvine call for applications

The UC Office of the President has created the President’s Sustainability Student Fellowship/Internship Program. With supplemental support from the UC Irvine Sustainability Initiative, we are proud to announce the UC Irvine solicitation for these “Climate Action Fellows.” Building on the recent Food Fellows Program, the Climate Action Fellows Program will award three fellowships this month:

For the general fellowships, we seek to fund high quality proposals from either undergraduate or graduate students that will advance the goal of carbon neutrality. In alignment with the UC Carbon Neutrality Initiative’s focus, successful fellowship applications will emphasize research, learning, and/or engagement about solutions to climate change. Projects may address a broad range of topics related to the goals of carbon neutrality and sustainability, including, but not limited to, environmental justice, climate justice, resilience, regeneration, adaptation, and mitigation.
